Today, Ace Hardware, the retailer-owned cooperative made up of 4,100 locally owned and operated hardware stores across the nation, announces its participation in “Small Business Saturday.” On Nov. 25th, shoppers can head to their closest Central Coast Ace Hardware store to celebrate Small Business Saturday in Salinas and Marina. This fourth annual national event encourages consumers to shop at local small businesses across the country.
“Small Business Saturday” is a national event, created by American Express® in 2010, founded to help the small businesses that are vitally important to the local communities in which they operate. These businesses across the country boost the economy, create local jobs and contribute money and in-kind donations to local organizations. Residents of Marina and Salinas can use this day as an opportunity to support business owners in their community and thank them for the services they provide.
